Fire Door Installation & Maintenance

We provide installation and remedial works for timber-based fire doors across a wide range of sectors including healthcare, education, commercial, residential and industrial environments.

All fire door installations and remedial works are delivered in partnership with fully accredited specialist subcontractors. Our team manages and supervises all works on site to ensure installations, adjustments and repairs are completed in accordance with relevant UK legislation and industry standards, including the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, the Building Safety Act 2022, and Approved Document B of the Building Regulations.

All works are carried out in line with recognised guidance such as BS 8214 for the installation of timber-based fire door assemblies and door sets and BS 9999 for fire safety in the design, and requirements based on the fire risk assessment and fire strategy of the building. This includes the installation of new timber fire doorsets, upgrading existing doors, and replacing, maintaining or adjusting critical components such as certified ironmongery, intumescent seals, smoke seals and door closers to ensure the doors perform correctly as part of the building’s passive fire protection system. We also place strong emphasis on supporting and training client management teams to provide knowledge and guidance for ongoing maintenance of the fire rated doorsets to help ensure continued compliance and longevity of the door set installed.
